'Shame Dem' was written in a time of grave trials and struggles back in 2019. Being in a very dark place with little to no help, I channeled all the negative energy inside me; from resentments and failures, into creating a track from which people undergoing hard times could take heart. Inspired by the faith in knowing things can and will get better and the wisdom of learning self-motivation throughout the sadness.
