Hi, I'm a 51 year old music teacher, composer/arranger from the little red dot (Singapore). I like and listen to all kind of music from traditional to contemporary. Most of my works are inclined towards the traditional ethnic fusion sound and piano easy listening instrumentals. Over the years (since 1994 to be exact) i hv written/composed numerous songs mostly for traditional/dance and theatre musical productions in Singapore. Only recently i decided to release some of my works onto digital platforms. Check out and follow my Spotify, i'll do likewise. Cheers and stay safe!

Zapin Muara feat. EthnicO
A theme song which was composed and arranged for ‘Muara Festival’ a traditional dance and music festival in Singapore. Traditional instruments like the gambus (oud), darbuka, marwas and kompang (malay frame drums), bamboo flute were used. ‘Zapin’ is a genre originated from the Middle East but has been assimilated into the music culture of the Malay archipelago. more

Rejoice
This is from track 2 of my ‘Rasuk Revisited’ ethnic instrumental album. Influenced from the traditional dance of Kuda Kepang or Kuda Lumping which is a traditional Javanese dance depicting a group of horsemen from East Java. The signature ‘pelog’ pentatonic riffs are retained in this track for that authentic traditional feel.more
