I'm a songwriter / recording artist, based in Ontario, Canada. I was born and grew up in Cebu City, Philippines. I started singing at an early stage. My mom used to force me to sing in front of her visitors in our house during that time. But music wasn't really supported as a career in our house. However, I grew up with neighbors who were musicians. I sing with them during weekends and after school hours. In my early 30s, I met a songwriter whom I work with. I helped him in recording his songs. One day, he gave me an opportunity to sing one of his songs. It gave me an idea to write my own songs. But actually nothing really happened during that time. I was busy taking care of the family and work. Around 20 years later, when the pandemic came, it got me back where i left off, and started writing songs at full swing.
