I study ecological restoration at the University of Montana while writing, performing, recording, and producing original music as a form of creative expression. I create music primarily for myself, but I hope that people find some value in my art, therefore providing some small amount of good to the world. As I see it, my job is to pursue the unknown, distill the observations, and distribute it to others, so that we may all learn something about ourselves and the environment upon which we depend. I believe that both science and art are integral to that process.
