My musical journey began in 1969 when I bought my first bass guitar, a Fender Precision which I struggled to pay for on hire purchase. The next couple of years was spent learning to play along with others at a local youth club. By 1974 I was playing in a local covers band playing 60's rhythm and blues in the pubs and working men's clubs. I had always wanted to write songs but apart from making tape recordings none were ever played live. My final bad was called the Bossmen. The original Bossmen had supported all the 60's bands on UK tours and also played in Hamburg. When I joined in 1994 only the original singer and keyboard player were still going. The band played on until around 2005. Since then I carried on writing songs for myself. With the arrival of Suno and AI, I am finally able to upload all the old and new tapes and let Suno arrange and produce them and then release them to the world.
