Born in 84 one of the greatest years in history, VersiVe Manhattan was able to see and hear where music was starting to become. From running around the house as a young melodic kid hearing Phyllis Hyman and Anita Baker come through the walls on a early Saturday morning, till EWF and Frankie Beverly was ending a Sunday night on a good note or two. Walking the same streets as Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Timbaland & Magoo, Clipse, VersiVe had no choice but to adapt and adjust to a sound unheard of to the basic eye. But to VersiVe it was exactly the umph that was needed to accept he was built to create universal music. Fast forward he carried every lesson learned back then to what he has become now.
