Composing 'hindsight twentytwenty' was my main means of processing the saddest and scariest parts of the COVID-19 pandemic as a provider of both medical and mental healthcare. This is also a deeply personal album, one that invokes far more of my subconscious beyond the pandemic alone. As I composed this music, I tried to communicate a complex web of emotions, reflections, introspections, interpretations, invitations, and homages to inspirations. But as a listener, you needn't be pressured to experience such complexities. Indeed, I welcome all types of listener experiences, in whatever small or large ways you wish to explore these soundscapes. This record is dedicated to everyone who experienced any type of stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first song, "Look," is also dedicated to my father, who showed me how to have vision. The last song, "In the Underbelly of the Basilica," is also dedicated to the Bronx, with much love.

all-traumatic all-american eyes (the horse and the megalodon)
From my album "hindsight twentytwenty" released on 2.2.22. Lyrics in this track (they don't start until approximately 5:30): sad sunken eyes behind cloth quite surprised for your freedom has vanished, your mental health's jeopardized some say that reason will help us be free from our own inner demons, keep us from being compromised always believe what you see with your own eye eschew expectation, trust your observations and maybe with time we can find piece of mind, come together, unite, and leave our differences behind maybe with time, we can find common ground, and look into each other's eyes after being traumatized we're traumatized we're all traumatized we won't see the light we won't see the light until we unite reason, read, and write refuse to deny quality of life, then we can survive together survive, together we rise look into my eyes ,stay right by my side don't leave me tonight I don't feel right, I don't feel right, who turned out the lights, i've lost all my sight don't leave me tonight don't tell me goodbye I don't feel right I don't feel right I don't feel right oh me oh my oh me oh my oh why oh why For more info check out deaf-child.commore

in the underbelly of the basilica
Closing track to my album "hindsight twentytwenty" Dedicated to The Bronx, with much love. The main organ chord progression was written in April 2020 during peak COVID-19 when I was working on medical floors of a hospital in the Bronx. This song, as a whole, is meant to be a deeply genuine and loving requiem for the Bronx as it is currently and as it was during peak COVID-19, when the people there faced hardships that are unimaginable to many. The clapping heard toward the end is actually a New York Times recording of the 7pm clap (Google '7pm clap' for more info on this). Finally, the track ends with 20 seconds of silence, which are meant to reflect on the lives lost during the pandemic. Lyrics: "so quiet you can hear the needle drop" baby, cry ooooh hoo hoo make me cry ooooh hoo hoo baby cry ooooh hoo hoo "look forward" maybe cry ooooh hoo hoo "look ahead" baby, fly ooooh hoo hoo make me cry ooooh hoo hoomore
