Born in 1987 and in the music scene since 2005, Berlin-based artist GOV communicates through his music both the beauty and the dark sides of life. GOV’s work encompasses genres including experimental rock, ambient music, electronica, breakbeat, jungle, and lo-fi. GOV is also the founder and lead singer of both legendary duo Govinda’s and rock band Morning Glory (with the hit “Molto Tempo Fa”). In the late 2000s, GOV played as a bassist with The Beatles cover band The People, and teamed up with Valey Ventura, to form a pop-punk group called The Groove. The approach he uses in producing music can be related to the well-known stream of consciousness method and is the result of his experiences between hedonism, despair, and creativity.
