GoodCityModern

Poteet, Texas

Good City Modern is a Punk inspired Alternative Rock band originally from San Antonio, now based in Poteet, Texas. With influences from Rockabilly, Surf Rock, Country and many more that appeal to an audience of any demographic. The band's songs keep a recurring theme of "Acceptance" from growing up without traditional gender roles, bitterness of being unloved, to processing death in a non self-destructive way. These stories are told anecdotally and emotionally, simultaneously throughout their discography. With shredding guitar solos, funky basslines, and power-driven drums, our music is guaranteed to, and encourages, you to move your feet and "dance the pain away.
