IGOR CUTLR is a garage rock duo formed by Emily Blong & Max Machavariani. In 2011 Max had just hitchiked from New York to California and landed in Los Angeles where he met Emily performing her colorful punk cabaret "My Velcroe" in an Echo Park gallery. He came home with her and never left. That night they formed a band. During the fall of the Soviet Union, Max had made a name for himself in Russia and the Caucuses with his post-punk band PLAKQSA, a now influential band in the Russian darkwave scene. Disbanding their prior projects, the juxtaposition of influences and cultures became an exciting songwriting partnership with max on guitars/drums, and Emily on vocals/keyboards/bass. The duo now resides in Tbilisi, Georgia.
