The song “Sparrows” is deeply rooted in Lisett’s childhood memories and the depths of her heart. Even the sparrows in the song’s title hold special meaning. One summer morning, a sparrow flew into her childhood home room, serving as an unusual morning greeting and prompting Lisett to seek its meaning. “In many folk beliefs, birds are considered omens of death. Unfortunately, this prediction proved true,” Lisett reflects.
Lisett wrote both the lyrics and the melody for the song dedicated to her grandmother, accompanying herself on guitar. For recording, production, and mixing, she was supported by the multi-award-winning producer Shehryar Khan.
