Nuremberg-based, multi-talented musician Michael Sopolidis started playing drums at the age of 9. He expanded his skills in singing and other instruments by playing in multiple bands and working on many projects ever since, developing his musicality and staying open-minded for all kinds of styles and genres.
His passion for writing music has led to an impressive number of songs, of which he picked his favorites for his twin albums NEW HORIZON:DUSK and NEW HORIZON:DAWN.

Being one of the most successful songs in 1989 with top ten positions in many countries around the world and No. 1 in the US and Canada, Roxette's pop ballad has propelled them to worldwide success and has become a true classic. This is my take on this song. Not wanting to compete with Marie Fredriksson stunning performance, I gave it a twist and brought it to the year 2022.more
