Marcurious is a singer-songwriter driven by storytelling, vulnerability and spiritual depth. Born in 1969 as the youngest in his family, music has always been a guiding force in his life. After performing live in the late 1990s, he stepped back from the entertainment world, while music remained a constant thread.
Following the loss of both his parents, and through the support of the love of his life, Marcurious found renewed purpose in songwriting. Together they co-wrote several songs now available on streaming platforms including Spotify, iTunes and YouTube.
Most at home in his own studio, Marcurious writes songs straight from the heart, each carrying a message and often revealing a deeper meaning to attentive listeners. His music blends Celtic and country influences with a narrative style and subtle spiritual undertones. Inspired by everyday life and the myths and landscapes of England and Ireland, his songs aim to comfort, support and inspire.

Let me be Myself Again
I wrote this song for a well-known Dutch DJ-Artist. We talked during our meeting. He indicated he wanted to pursue a different path, but that this was difficult given the image he'd built. People always see him as the DJ.
After our conversation, I wrote the lyrics and music. I wrote the lyrics in two languages, Dutch and English, and I want to share the English version with you. He loved it; it felt like his current life's journey.more
