Hello world, This is Naeki, your favorite anime fan, artist, musician,writer, and kid. I am based in Ithaca, NY, a beautiful artist hub. I started making music a little over four years ago, whilst playing on a Maschine Mikro 2 given to me by a beat-making friend! My musical journey then began and I started taking classes to learn how to make beats with the Maschine Software, Ableton Live and also learned mixing basics. I made various beats and mixed those stems until I finally felt confident enough to make my own music. From then on, writing, singing to my beats became my norm as I found it easier to work with those. I then made my first songs a couple months later. I’d like to use a quote from Victor Hugo describing music ‘ Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent’ . So I see music as an ultimate form of expression. I could be listening to music, and expressing myself through the brain waves emitting from that kid up there (my head).
