I was hesitant to upload this song up until now, but why not? TFTBS is a 14 min epic of heartbroken gods watching their children for a last moment before the world ends. In this song a lot of the ideas that have flown around my head since the early conception of the album and maybe even before that. I have long feared that this song might be too long winded for its own good for a long time but shortly after the release this was the most listened song before I promoted some of the others. Sunrise is the second song off The Final Day, an album I released under the name of my solo project Quiet Observer. It describes life entering a newly created universe. It's probably the only song I'll ever write in a major key. But I needed something more upbeat than usual and this seemed the only way I could get that. Was also listening to a lot of Caligula's Horse back in the day.more
