Thanks for listening to my new solo hobby as I zig and zag through a musically experimental blend of death rattles, poems, punchlines, and prayers. ✌️As the first human musician that I know of who’s parodying the increase in AI-generated music by sarcastically pretending to be a machine, I write dark, weird, flawed, and brutally honest songs about a dark, weird, flawed and brutally dishonest world that lies to itself more everyday. I’m a lyrics-forward writer/composer and singer who has written songs for years in bands but my current approach is to just layer one simple rhythm or melody part on top of another and let the creative process determine the next piece of the puzzle. I’ve taken the same approach to the varied vocal deliveries of each song, letting the results of the previous steps guide me towards what just feels right in the moment. This isn’t bot-generated ear candy, this is Automated Stellar Machines…artificial name, human music.
