Class Clown
Just dropped this one so it'd mean heaps if you could stream it and support me :) The lyrics say it all for this one, so I'm gonna post those instead: Authenticity Never really was my thing Don't wanna burden my friends Coz I'm sure nobody Would find my troubles interesting Find myself lying again I'm fine I'll make the jokes and bring the laughs I'm fine I'll wear this laughter as a mask I'm fine I'm fine But I'm sick of mucking around Behind this painted smile Painted smile I'm scared you'll notice I'm down Will I go out of style Out of style But I can't keep this up forever Tell me how to tell you that I'm Tired of being class clown Tired of being class clown Familiarity Is what people want of me Keep giving them what they know Coz I'm sure nobody Cares 'bout the class clown's tragedy So I'll just go with the flow I'm fine I'll make the jokes and bring the laughs I'm fine I'll wear this laughter as a mask I'm fine I'm fine But I'm sick of hiding my face Behind this painted smile Painted smile I'm scared of losing my place Will I go out of style Out of style But I can't keep this up forever Tell me how to tell you that I'm Tired of being class clown Tired of being class clown I'm fine I'll make the jokes and bring the laughs I'm fine I'll wear this laughter as a mask I'm fine I'm fine.more

Rest My Wrestle
When it seems like God isn't there, we can still find comfort in his hope and truth, which is steadfast through every season. This song is based on Psalm 13, a short one but an incredibly powerful one! How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? 3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, 4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. 2 years after writing this song, it still resonates with me deeply. It feels as though God has not lifted my suffering, if anything it has gotten worse. But his mercies are new every morning as I learn to rest in his goodness just like David at the end of this psalm. May we always rest our wrestles in His might!!more
