Jake Cody is an American writer, performer, and multimedia creator whose work spans fiction, musical theatre, film, and music.
The author of the Wolfsong Saga, Cody brings a storyteller's sensibility to every medium he explores. His background in acting, vocal performance, editing, and post-production informs an approach that favors character, emotional truth, and the occasional well-placed absurdity.
He also develops original musical theatre projects.
Under COCKEYED & CO., he follows an eclectic musical curiosity from romantic Western ballads to satire, hip-hop, and theatrical songs. He combines hands-on creative direction with emerging AI music and vocal tools, including performances shaped from samples of his own voice.
His debut album, WESTERN HEARTS, explores love, longing, and belonging on the American frontier.
For Cody, the genre is never the destination. The idea is. And sometimes the unexpected detour turns out to be the best part.
