Matthew Allen Baatz (Mathideon) is a spoken-word artist, songwriter, and author who turns pain into poetry and truth into fire. Surviving childhood abuse, addiction, incarceration, and a near-fatal car accident, Matthew faced one of his darkest moments in 2019, on the edge of suicide, only to awaken with a bottle of pills in his hand and a second chance from God. That moment, and the love of his wife and daughter, became the turning point. Now, every word he writes and every song he releases comes from a place of redemption, conviction, and defiant hope. His work exposes secret oaths, false altars, and spiritual compromise—calling the Church to truth and the broken to Christ. Through projects like The Apron and the Altar and the upcoming Flawless Victory, Matthew wages lyrical war against deception and invites others into the same freedom that saved him. His faith is unshakable. His story is real. His mission is urgent.
