Jelly and Ice Cream Smile
The nervous little boy becomes: * the teenager falling in love, * the husband remembering where it all started, * then the father watching his own son experience the exact same emotions years later. By the end of the song, the listener realises the cycle never truly ends. The birthday repeats. The nerves repeat. The hope repeats. The magic repeats. That’s why the chorus stays the same every time. Because some feelings don’t evolve — they simply get passed down. The “jelly and ice cream smile” becomes more than describing one girl. It becomes a symbol for the moment someone changes your emotional world forever. The song works because every generation can find themselves inside it: * kids understand the excitement, * teenagers understand the crush, * adults understand the nostalgia, * parents understand the full circle. It’s designed almost like memory itself: warm, repetitive, comforting and timeless.more

Fix The Fence
“Fix the Fence” is a song I’ve written for @sound_eleven_music to release about two next door neighbours who lose a lifelong friendship over something small (a bicker between their wives over parking spaces outside their houses) that slowly turns into silence, pride and distance. The broken fence between their homes becomes a metaphor for the relationship falling apart beside it. At its core, the song asks a simple question: How many good relationships could be saved if somebody just made the first move? Built around the idea that life’s too short to let ego win, “Fix the Fence” is a reminder to repair what matters while there’s still time. Hope you like it - released this one as a single 💿 — Sound Eleven #soundeleven #countrymusic #countrymusiclover #countrysongwriter #theplayerspianocoachmore
