Steffi Neuhuber is part of different collectives with a concentration on experimental music and interdisciplinary works and also pursues a solo project.
Steffi contributed the musical part to the performative staged play "Good Morning, Boys and Girls" (Julie Zeh) by Barbara Klein and Paola Bianchi as well as to the theatre play "Kassandra" (Christa Wolf) by Julia Nina Kneussel and the youth theatre play "Chaos&Utopia" by Nico Wind.
She is part of the duo Black Biuti and the Vienna based association SNIM. From time to time Steffi is joining the Bird People collective, Baron | Neuhuber an interdisciplinary soundperformance project with sculptor Daniel Baron and the most recent project Hoffmann/Neuhuber combines text and music. During a stay in Chicago Natalie Chami, Brian Griffith and Steffi Neuhuber cofounded the collective Screaming Claws with a focus on experimental/ambient/noise music.

"When I heard the bell ringing sounds of Notre Dame I immediately imagined a drone and tight sound scape. As my grandmother decided to leave this planet just a few weeks ago, the words formed while improvising with this field recording and over the sound scape of this many bells. So I want to dedicate this track to life with all its facets."

V Day
“I'm taking you with me floating through the autumn mountain sky to some calming and rhythmic beats while enjoying the sun rays shining in all our faces. Recorded on a valentine's day for your well-being.”
V DAY was recorded some time ago on a Valentin’s Day. Steffi Baron-Neuhuber plays on her Paetzold bass recorder and produces unusual but delightful sounds and noises.
In V DAY she loops and intertwines these sounds in a relaxing but pushing forward - nearly meditative musical meter. With the synth bassline she adds a new level to the raw beats – the necessary depth.
As relaxing so demanding is the new single V DAY by Steffi Baron-Neuhuber.
