‘Body Lies’ is apart of a waterfall release I’m doing for my first EP, ‘Down the Dark Forest’. A journey through the shadows of life, illuminated by the haunting glow of the blood moon. An exploration into eerie silence. The choice between lingering in the hauntingly beautiful abyss or seeking comfort of familiar light. A testament to the captivating allure of life's darker side and the strength it takes to walk away. ‘Body Lies’ specifically was written about the darker sides of Hollywood, and it captures the entire EP in one song. The title is a double entendre: It occurs at the end of the chorus with the line “but still the body lies”. This means two things, one, someone is lying to you. Maybe you’re lying to yourself.
