Hi there! Sarelle here, or Elle for short! I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, & am now located in the land of dreams, Los Angeles, CA. I’ve been singing since before I could talk. My mom even says, I used to hum myself to self before I could form words. Singing was my first love, but songwriting was the love affair. I wrote my first song when I was five years old, and since then it’s been a part of my daily practice. It’s how I cope, how I destress. Within the last year I’ve started learning how to play guitar, bass, piano, and produce myself. Some little fun facts about me are that I collect frog figurines, I was a competitive gymnast growing up and am a gymnastics coach now, and I can touch my nose with my tongue like stitch. I can’t wait to connect with you all and form a bonds through something so meaningful as our art.

Body Lies
‘Body Lies’ is apart of a waterfall release I’m doing for my first EP, ‘Down the Dark Forest’. A journey through the shadows of life, illuminated by the haunting glow of the blood moon. An exploration into eerie silence. The choice between lingering in the hauntingly beautiful abyss or seeking comfort of familiar light. A testament to the captivating allure of life's darker side and the strength it takes to walk away.
‘Body Lies’ specifically was written about the darker sides of Hollywood, and it captures the entire EP in one song. The title is a double entendre: It occurs at the end of the chorus with the line “but still the body lies”. This means two things, one, someone is lying to you. Maybe you’re lying to yourself. Or two, the body is laying still… more

Vodka Shakes specifically, dives into the want to numb the pain of grief with the abuse of alcohol. It’s a dark pop track with influences of rock/alternative and R&B.
