I wrote this song in 8th grade and had no plan on releasing it. That was until the person I wrote it about came to see a show that I was performing in, and I knew that I had to add onto the story. Therefore, I rewrote the whole second verse in order to tell both stories in one song. I wanted to make sure the song sounded like a ballad, as it is one of the slower songs off of my new EP "Curtain Call," yet have an electronic sound to match the social media theme.
