Babi Li (aka Marlon Baugh), an open minded artist, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 14, 1988. During his early childhood years, he lived in the Granite Mountain Housing Project with his mother and 5 siblings. At the age of 14, he received his first beat making program. By the age of 16, he was making beats for his brothers and other local artists. But as the years progressed, Babi Li decided that he wanted to make music for God. “I’m an Appar not a Rappa,”says Babi Li. He has performed at various venues, from the Corner Stone Pub in North Little Rock to Club Lush in Atlanta, Georgia. Babi Li is currently working on his Freshman album entitled, “Everlasting Testament.”
