Good City Modern is a Punk inspired Alternative Rock band from San Antonio, Texas. With influences from Rockabilly, Surf Rock, Country and many more, they appeal to an audience of any demographic. Felix "The Kat" Rico and Esme "Es" Valle combine their opposing vocal styles to create a truly unique sound that never stops surprising from track to track. The band's songs keep a recurring theme of "Acceptance" from growing up without traditional gender roles, bitterness of being unloved, to processing death in a non self-destructive way. These stories are told anecdotally and emotionally, simultaneously throughout their discography. With shredding guitar solos, funky basslines, and power-driven drums, their music is guaranteed to, and encourages, you to move your feet and "dance the pain away."
