Hexenbane

Nanaimo, BC, Canada

Hexenbane blends elements of Doom, Goth, Heavy Psych and Stoner Rock for all the head's, witches and weirdos and outcasts of the world. Formed when Vocalist, Starla Nostarious sought out long time collaborators Tanner Hartmann (drums) and Cody Beaubier(guitar), as well as veteran punk rocker Shaun Rathy (bass) for a project that is both heavy, beautiful, morose and psychedelic. Kyle Hartmann succeeded Shaun on bass for a time for a dual Hartmann attack before moving cities. The position of Bass then went to the thunderous riffing of Alex Beaudoin. Drawing from many different influences, the sound of Hexenbane continues into a world of sonic experimentation on a foundation of crunchy riffs and greasy licks.
