Marc Rio is a singer, composer and musician who has played in various electro and acoustic bands in Argentina, Spain and in Germany. He also founded his own group, the "Marc Rio Band" (Marcelo y la Banda), in which he fused styles such as blues, pop, reggae, ska, new bossa, and with whom he recorded his songs on the LP "Cambia", always with his typical Latin touch and with lyrics that usually have a lot of depth and metaphors that is influenced by the tango and rock of his country. His very own guitar playing is inspired by various genres, such as jazz, blues and often with that typical touch of Latin American pop. He is busy again with studio work, also with electronic pop and Poprock. The latest live projects "The acoustic sessions" show him as an acoustic soloist, accompanied by some guest musicians. The sensitivity of his vocal and instrumental interpretations characterise and are an important part o of all his performances.
