Live or Die is a song about Fear, a song about Regrets, a song about getting back on your feet (Rising), a song about Life, and a song about Death. Regrets from past desecration. Regrets from impulsive choices. And regrets of not holding one another closer, embracing the life we have. It’s also a song about being at war with oneself. Alot of us strive to overcome our fear, breaking lose from cycles of destructive habits in hope that we're one day able to chase our dreams and goals to the max. We're not “ok” or "alright" in every moment of our lives. And stigma when we aren’t is not acceptable. I've had my own challenging personal battles that both have and continues to change my life. When i'm at the edge of darkness I always remember that there's light in the other end of the tunnel and I give full focus onto that light, rising back up on my feet even when hope seems like just a fantasy. Cause i know there always might be something great awaiting or something rewarding to live for in the other end of that tunnel and that change is always way closer than we think. Death doesn't discriminate anyone. It can affect us all in a split second with no warning. Those that are near and dear to us, the ones we redeem as healthy and even our idols. And often, when we know someone near us that doesn't have much time left, we are afraid. Afraid to call, to talk to them, to show them we love them cause we know they'll soon be gone and we'd rather ignore that fact than to live with that reality. If you think someone in your life needs help, ask them if they’re doing alright and make sure that they know you’ll be there for them. Keep appearing and help them however you can. And: Hello.
