Liverpool

Born in Liverpool in the 1960s, Steve Robinson grew up in a city humming with music, myth, and the unmistakable rhythm of working‑class life. The docks, the terraces, the laughter, and the grit all left their fingerprints on him early, shaping a voice that blends sharp observation with a storyteller’s instinct for heart, humour, and humanity. From childhood, Steve was drawn to the power of a good tale—whether carried in a melody, a whispered rumour, or the kind of stories people only tell when the pub lights dim. That instinct eventually grew into a lifelong passion for songwriting and narrative craft. His work is known for its emotional clarity, cinematic detail, and the ability to find meaning in the ordinary moments most people rush past. As an author, Steve writes with the same sensibility that shaped his music: a blend of lived experience, surreal imagination, and a deep appreciation for the characters who drift in and out of real life.
