Anthony Martinelli is a 17-year-old multi-instrumentalist from Wayne, NJ, whose pop-rock style fuses elements of classic rock, alternative, and singer/songwriter for a uniquely distinct and innovative sound. Growing up, Martinelli’s influences spanned from The Beatles to Jack Johnson and even to his own parents, who introduced him to the guitar at 5 years old. With a mind full of melodies and a love for songwriting developed over time in quarantine, Martinelli combines his classic rock and singer/songwriter roots with a newfound love for artists such as Rex Orange County, Surfaces, and Waterparks to create a sound that develops with each song he writes. Martinelli taps into the sounds of summer with songs like “Azzurra” and “Late July”, and expresses deeper themes with more recent tunes such as the ballad-style track “Wasn’t Ready to Say Goodbye”.
