For ariel vizzini, music wasn’t a choice; it was just the air she breathed growing up in southern Mississippi. The daughter of a 70s rock bassist and a writer/music-loving mother, she was writing poetry by eleven and recording a demo by 2010. After years in local musical theatre and choirs, she transitioned into her own brand of indie alt-pop: a sound that fluidly jumps from folk introspection to hyperpop and dark pop-rock.
Armed with a three-octave range, ariel blends dense, lyric-heavy verses with massive harmonies. She writes honestly about identity, grief, and mental health, often wrapping darker themes in glitter. In 2025, she pivoted to self-production, building tracks from loops and digital architecture, handling every single vocal stack and mix herself.
As a self-aware millennial sadgirl who loves performance but hates being performative, she isn't looking for mainstream world breaks - just real, honest connection and vulnerability.
