I am Nicolay Løvvold, a Norwegian artist and songwriter, educator in music, and producer at Emerald Arts Studio. I have been working with music since 2007, and I love every part of creating songs and records – from idea to the finished product.
I have most experience with genres like pop, rock, metal and classical. As for the latter, I have a genuine passion for film, TV-series and video games, and when I do that type of music, I generally make it with those things in mind.

The song is about two people; two circumstances; one perspective. One shows no signs of insight because he acts on what he believes is expected. Hence, no reflection. The other is more literal; she stares into her own reflection, but fails to see any value. Both are affected by their outside world, and it leaves them in an unhealthy state. In chorus, they’re trying to make some kind of promise to themselves: “Quite soon… so far away from you.”more
