sharkbabybabyshark is a songwriter and storytelling artist with twelve years of piano training. After years away from music, personal change led her back to songwriting as a way to listen inward and find a sense of home. Each story finds its own sound: intimate confession, orchestral warmth, ambient space, folk texture, electronic pulse, or a darker cinematic world. Drawing from psychology, philosophy, memory, and poetry, her work explores devotion, identity, longing, resilience, shadow, and transformation. Through Anima, Animus, Shadow, and Self, she approaches inner forces not as identities assigned by gender, but as ways of feeling, choosing, enduring, and finding a way home within. Light, water, distance, and home recur throughout her music, while melody, atmosphere, lyrics, and imagery leave listeners room to enter through their own experience. Music helped her find a home within; she hopes her songs leave a light for other travelers finding their own way home.
