This Song called "Ollie Bomb" is about Taylor Hawkins and I wrote it the week after he passed. It is song number 4 on my sophomore album "BIRDS ARE REAL". Over the following months I had my buddy Ray James (Check him out on all platforms!) come over and record the dueling solos you hear at the second part of the song. The drum solo I did at the end was my feelings of grief in solo form. I recorded the drum solo the day after he passed, because as a drummer the world got a little quieter when Taylor passed.more

You are the first to hear it because bandcamp/slaps feels similar to what CDs are about. I wrote this song because of how mad I am at how long it takes for apps to play music, when you can pop a CD into the player and then hit play and then BAM MUSIC IN YOUR SOUL. Oh and yes I name the albums that I would take with me if an UAP abducted me. I did forget about Dre, but I figured aliens would already know about Dre. Didn't aliens smoke weed first?
