This is a piece inspired by coming back home after doing some touring as a solo acoustic guitarist. It’s always a great feeling to come back home with all the new experiences you’ve gathered to try to put into a new song and this was one of many stories that was born out of it. I remember being on my longest tour in my music career a couple years ago. It was 30 shows and 10 weeks long across Europe. I felt I had lost my sense of home. Waking up late one night I didn’t remember what country I was in because of how fast it was going. I went straight to the guitar to ground myself and realized that home wasn't a physical place for me at this time. Home was my guitar and brought me to a place of peace, acceptance and understanding of the chaos around me. This is the song that was born from this experience. more
