With most of my tracks I strive for a UNIQUE sound where you can put headphones on and let your mind drift into a space it's never gone before. Usually it's not danceable, more for the mind... not as much for the feet. Inspirations include Steve Reich (phasing), Phillip Glass (big sound), John Adams (maximinimalist), Sheila Shandra, Eric Satie, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Keith Jarrett. Most of my tracks DEFY categorization... seriously, I struggle to find an appropriate genre. I might call it crunchy... because it's NOT smooth like a train ride; it's crunchy like a ROLLERCOASTER ride.
