BoonBlessed's flow is a combination of hip hop, pop, and little dazzle of R&B. The Chicago native is giving the people what they need-peace and love. His love for music began at the age of 14 when his high school mentors Mr. Muhammad and Mr. Kirkwood introduced him to the world of Poetry. He attended Simeon Vocational Career Academy in Chicago, IL, and competed in poetry competitions through one of the largest youth poetry festivals in the world called, “Louder than a Bomb.” His style of poetry was influenced by many HipHop artists such as Common, Wale, J.Cole, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas, Ab Soul, Kendrick Lamar and many more. Over the years he found a love for writing poetry and songs. At the age of 25, he experienced hearing the voice of God. God told him that he would produce music and that is when everything changed. He began to write and produce his own music. In a matter of weeks, the project was created and thus began the music career of BoonBlessed.
