I’m Izanami — an artist exploring the edges of experimental electronic music. I first got into making music back in 2015, stepped away for a while, and eventually found my way back to it with a clearer direction and a fresh approach. My sound pulls from industrial, EBM, funk, hip-hop, house, IDM, and anything else that sparks an idea. Video game soundtracks have also been a big influence on how I build atmosphere and rhythm. I'm an avid gamer :) I treat music like an ongoing experiment — no fixed plan, no strict genre lines, just evolving ideas. Outside of music, I work in photography, video and photo editing, and graphic design. I also have experience with piano, guitar, and production, which all shape the way I create. I’ve been part of the darkwear, techwear, and warcore community since early 2019, creating within that niche space on Instagram. I’m also the founder of @exile.wear (est. 2020), my own darkwear fashion brand.
