An unfinished work in progress for #Songtember 2026more

Inspired by Pete Johns's 8 Bar Challenge false start with a 7/8 loop, I decided to do a one in 7/8. Recorded with my relatively new to me electric upright bass for the first time, and also used session players in Logic for the first time for drums and piano.more

I recorded this a few years ago for the 8 bar challenge but finished it way too late, so I never really did anything with it. So this time I've polished it off with a new remix and remaster (now that I have a better idea of what I'm doing). Eight bars and only eight tracks! The title is a reference to an old slang term for getting too drunk by having one more than you intended.more
