TJP (The Jesus Psalms) was formed by Brian and Brielle Bartel, a married couple living in Southwest Washington. They have been writing and playing music together since 2006. They play mostly Christian music and lead worship at two churches. With a background in rock, blues, folk and alternative they bring a good variety of styles to their music. A dream they've been working on since 2008 is to write a song for each Psalm. Brian is a school teacher and Brielle is a stay-at-home parent and cancer survivor. They enjoy writing their music and relaxing at home with their daughter, two dogs and two cats.
