My name is Veronique Bertelle, but it's not me. I do not live, nor have I ever lived, by your rules of space and time. I was born in the UK in the 1950s. In 1984 I was reborn in Italy, a fracture in the timeline that redefined who I was. Until 1990, I lived between 1965 and 1975, between Los Angeles and El Cerrito. In those places, in sound and experimentation, I walked alongside incredible artists. In the 1990s, I lived in London from 1960 to 1971, a decade marked by exponential musical experimentation. Also in the 1990s, between 1978 and 2006, I lived suspended between Minnesota and Chobham (UK). During this period I started playing guitar, drums and bass, writing my first songs. From 2000 to 2019, I stopped creating for a specific reason. But I lived inside recorded tracks and I understood the truth. 2019, like a wave that cannot be held back, writing is back. Born: KOTE.
