My Dad made sure I could hear his stereo playing while I slept at night. By age 8, second grade. He bought me my first clarinet. He had bought me a Silvertone Bobcat electric guitar 🎸 before second grade. By 6th grade, an Alto sax 🎷. My guitar teacher required I choose between High School band and taking lessons from her. So I taught myself from there, staying in band. All the way through Graduation from ETSU.

Guitar Festival Instrumental
This is an example of a song I wrote and recorded the gist of it during a practice session. Later added a lead guitar part using a special recording mic near a smaller amp for less interferrence in the sound quality. So the roaring is gone. Mixed to try to make all the parts audible in the mix. Later may add some Saxophone to create more of a Jazzy feel. This is what it is today.more

Everglade Annie
This is a song my High School buddie and I wrote back in the 1990s when we had a band named ''The Model City Boys'' which has since been updated to ''Model City Bluez''. The song began in Florida, brewed in Tennessee and aged in local venues across the Tri Cities of Tennessee. I am very interested in your response to this one! It has been improved on as time goes by.more
