Daniel Karl Morgan is an indie pop–rock artist blending expressive vocals, melodic guitar, and dynamic arrangements. Drawing from alternative, pop, and progressive influences, Daniel moves between intimate acoustic moments and expansive, high-energy passages, channelling a vast and eclectic range of influences, from Jeff Buckley and Blur to Smashing Pumpkins and Rush. His new album "Is the Sky Before Me or Is It the Sea?" is due for release in May 2026 and features 13 tracks exploring themes including the challenges and joys of fatherhood, the cost-of-living crisis, human connection, artificial intelligence, and encounters with flat-Earth conspiracy theorists. Self-produced at his home studio in Llanelli, South Wales, the album showcases Daniel’s distinctive lyrical voice and wide vocal range, delivered through ambitious, harmony-laden, guitar-driven production.
