I wrote this song for my son after I was feeling at my worst, suicidal, wanted to give up. I wrote this song to make sure I will never give up and keep on fighting for my boy so he has the best life he ever could. I wrote this song when I was going through a bad deep depression and I felt like I couldn't continue on. My wife is my main supporter and my number 1 fan and I could not keep living without her. I wrote this song for her, when I finally woke up and realized she is my life saver and my hero, I went straight into writing lyrics for this. Originally it was supposed to be heavy with powerful aggressive vocals to match the lyrics, but as I kept writing the music for it, it just sounded so good as acoustic so it just stuck.
